12-12-13 Daily Answer!

Allegory, a literary symbolization, is one story, typically irrelevant in terms of character and setting choice, but represents a historical or political situation. Used in symbolic manner, allegories can represent an author's ideas through the backdrop of a innocent setting. Many times, restrictions are placed on the societies mind in believing a stubborn opinion possibly imbedded through the minds, using allegories, certain restrictions are removed and people are allowed to express their unaltered opinion. Thus, allegories help provide a different usually unpopular outlook on certain topics, and open the eyes of the reader to the truth or even a new outlook on actions done by others.
